The Angora rabbit, naturally one of the most adorable animals on the planet, is famous for its fur which is as fluffy as it is soft. In fact, these rabbits almost look like living, breathing stuffed animals. Sadly, their fur is also what makes them desirable to fur traders.
Recently, animal rights advocates One Voice posted footage depicting what these beautiful animals go through. After seeing their pain, it’s hard to imagine how this is legal anywhere.

I don’t think I’ll ever get that poor thing’s screams out of my head. Although about 90% of the Angora fur trade happens in China, it’s also legal in France. If you’d like to learn more about how to help, head over to One Voice’s petition to urge the French government to end this practice.
