You might not think so, but some birds can actually make better pets than cats and dogs. They are smart, clean, and tremendously affectionate. If you need proof, just take a look at Ripley!

This one-year-old toucan, while most definitely a bird, actually behaves more like a dog – and it’s one of the most adorable things we’ve ever seen.

Meet Ripley. She’s a toucan, but she thinks she’s a dog!

When it’s time to cuddle up and watch a movie, Ripley’s there.

Just like a member of the family, she goes on trips and adventures to meet some of her favorite people… and aliens.

Like your average pup, Ripley can get a little frisky!

She likes to bring her family special presents, too.

She can be a little clingy, but with those cute eyes how can you resist her?

After a little rest, she’s ready for anything, even a game of catch!

And when it’s time for bed, she’s happy to curl up anywhere so long as you’re close by.

Have you ever seen anything cuter in your entire life? I might have to go see if I can trade in my old labrador for a pet toucan (just kidding, Brenner!).
